Another favourite product, Garnier BB cream

I love this!  I don't usually wear foundation on my skin preferring to occasionally use a little light powder.  When I do want a bit more cover I use this.  It's very light as far as coverage goes which suits me fine.  This is probably why they only produce two shades as the colour is very sheer.  It's affordable and moisturising which is good for me as I have dry skin which needs moisturising every time I wash it.  I like that it has SPF in it as well which I usually look for.  I enjoy using this.  I bought a second one recently as I spotted it was on offer even though I hadn't used up my first tube.

Burt's Bees Sensitive Daily Moisturising Cream

Hi there!  I've always wanted to try Burt's Bees products as I seem to have sensitivity to unnatural ingredients.  I found the range a little too expensive to purchase in the past but I was lucky that my boyfriend bought me some of their products for Christmas.  I was really excited to try them out!

One of the items was the Sensitive Daily Moisturising Cream.  I really love it.  It absorbs really well in to my skin and doesn't leave it feeling greasy as some other brand natural face creams have.  It's really pleasant to use.  There's no scent which is fine as scented face creams seem to sting my sensitive skin.  It's probably my favourite face cream so far.  If it had some SPF in it it would be perfect!

Clinique Chubby Stick Review

I love these cute chubby sticks by Clinique.  They are moisturising and give a subtle lip colour.  Not so subtle that you should apply it without looking in a mirror though as the colour does show!  I have two but this one in Chunky Cherry is my favourite. I like it's brighter pink colour.  Perfect for wearing in the day time when lipstick will look too heavy.

You can read about all the different colours they come in on their website here http://www.clinique.co.uk/product/1605/15520/Makeup/Lipsticks/Chubby-Stick-Moisturizing-Lip-Colour-Balm/index.tmpl

The Balm Mascara in Cheater Review

Hi!  I have decided to review some products I've been using as I'm always looking for honest product reviews before I spend my precious money on things so it's time to give something back :)

I recently bought The Balm Mascara in Cheater.  I was looking for something a little less thick for everyday wear than the Bourjois one I'd been using.

The brush and the bristles looked smaller which I like and the formula didn't seem too thick so I decided to give it a go.  I try to avoid products containing Parabens which this mascara is free of and it was also on sale which is good as otherwise this brand would be priced higher than what I would normally pay for cosmetics.

I'm happy with the consistency, hardly any clumps at all when I apply it.  I love the retro packaging.  All in all I'm very happy with this mascara and will be using it for every day wear as planned!

New wellies?

At the moment I'm trying to decide whether or not to send my footwear in a new direction with a pair of kitsch wellies.  I've been looking for shoes that will tolerate the current rainy weather whilst simultaneously looking cute and being comfortable on my feet which are suffering from 'beginning of the new ballet season' syndrome.
Cath Kidston
I've always dismissed them in the past as silly looking on anyone over the age of 12 but after spotting these cute Cath Kidston ones on Asos in the sale my inner twelve year old has kicked in and I'm sorely tempted!

Perhaps  if I team them with some more grown up plain clothes I can get away with it? Ah well who cares, I need a little lift in my mood on wet grey days and if cute patterned wellies do the trick, why not!

Quirky jewellery!

Recently I have been inspired by cuter vintage style charms on necklaces.  I decided I wanted to add some items in this vein to my Etsy shop.  I went cute charm hunting and came away with a few super cute tea cup and tea pot items.  I think they look great on a gold tone chain!

New Dance Photos

This summer my boyfriend and I holidayed for a magical week on the island of Kefalonia, Greece.  As he has an online shop where he sells his photography we decided to take the opportunity to use one of the lovely lighthouses on the island to take some impromptu dance shots.  We were lucky with the evening lighting and a strong breeze which added a sense of movement to the shots.

The beautiful dress I was wearing was from Mango and co-ordinated with the colours of the setting really well.
